Useful means “able to be used for a practical purpose or in several ways”. To me, “Useful” is something that makes me rely on and helps me go through the problems of mine. I thought about what is a useful way to represent or explain myself to others. Instead of explaining myself with words, I like to represent myself visually. All 3D works are rendered by me.

The Process Of Designing a Character

• Who is your target audience?

• How is the character being used or shown?

• Make the character a personality.

• Add original and unique design choices.

• Study and gather reference images of other character designs.

I have never designed a character, so I wanted to research how other people question themselves to design one. These questions that I found really helped me to think about what I want to design and why I want to design.

Designing Main Character

I decided to design a specific main character design that I can start with. After designing this one, I was able to create various characters from this original design. They discuss and make decisions together.

Conclusion

When I start designing characters, I had so much fun designing them. I did not care how long it takes. I just want my character to be what I wanted to be. Designing objects for the background or clothing for my character was fun too. If I design more of them, I want to take enough time. I want to make more characters for fun.
